On November 4th, Nanjing University, Insta360, and Qixia District signed a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement, and the Insta360 Intelligent Imaging Algorithm Innovation Center was officially unveiled. Zhou Hongbo, Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee; Tan Tieniu, Chair of NJU CPC Council; and Liu Jingkang, NJU alumnus and founder of Insta360 jointly witnessed the signing and unveiling ceremony.

Insta360 Co., Ltd. is a globally leading intelligent imaging brand, focusing on the research and development, production, and sales of intelligent imaging equipment such as panoramic cameras, action cameras, and panoramic drones. Recently, NJU, Insta360, and Qixia District have reached consensus on deepening cooperation in industry, education and talent cultivation.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, Insta360 will leverage NJU's talent resources and establish the Insta360 Intelligent Imaging Algorithm Innovation Center with Qixia District, focusing on core technological directions such as AI imaging algorithms, VR/AR, and computer vision. Leveraging NJU's educational resources, Insta360's industrial practice platform, and Qixia District's policy resources, the three parties will jointly build the Insta360 (NJU Xianlin) Talent Development Base to conduct cooperation in internships and training, graduation projects, and innovation and entrepreneurship development, and to cultivate in a targeted manner a group of high-quality applied and innovative talents that meet industrial needs. Insta360 will also collaborate with NJU, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and other universities in Nanjing, as well as a series of technologically complementary enterprises, to conduct cooperation in technological research and development, talent cultivation, and scenario implementation. Qixia District will support Insta360 in conducting scenario demonstration applications in fields such as industrial manufacturing, intelligent conferences, and urban governance.

Participants included Jiang Min, Deputy Mayor of Nanjing; Suo Wenbin, Member of the Standing Committee of NJU Party Committee and Vice President of NJU; Chen Jinyao, Co-founder and Executive President of Insta360, and principal responsible officials from Qixia District and relevant departments.
